Hi
well, finally I 'revised' ;ol; my throttle body. My 9-5 goes a lot better now, it's much smoother to drive.
I followed the directions of photousa. I thank him publicly.
I want to ask you once the throttle body is 'revised', you must reprogram the ECU with the Tech 2?
Will require programming/setting? once it has been fitted?

thanks :cheesy:

I've read where people have fixed the "flaking or cracked" wires using some sort of liquid wire insulation, more or less painting it on. If it were me and I looked at the throttle body wiring and found it cracked, I would send it in to BBA Reman and have them rebuild it for me, it comes with a lifetime warranty. I talked to a tech at BBA Reman and tried to get them to tell me exactly what they were doing to the throttle bodies as far as the rebuild process goes, but they wouldn't tell me, saying the information was "proprietary", more or less a trade secret. I wanted to find out if they were replacing the "brushes" between the rotating black discs inside the TB, I guess I may never know.
