The Classic Saab 900, in general a very reliable and long-lived car, if you have a look at the 'Saab Mileage' pages you will see that it is not uncommon at all for this car to be capable of mileages in excess of 300,000 miles.
However in common with any other car the classic 900 has it's fair share of problems, these are generally predictable and once you are 'in the know' the problems are easy to diagnose and in most cases well within the capabilities of the home mechanic to fix themselves.
