Default Windshield Washer Pump

Does anyone know how to access / replace the windshield washer pump. Mine went last week and I'm not sure how to get at it since its below the fuse box / battery.

Thanks!

Wink No more juice...

Hey,

I can see that you have a 2.0t 2003.

I never heard about changing windshield washer pumb...maybe I'm wrong.

I suggest looking at your entire wiper motor, near to the cabin filter. I've read that that unit also control the windshiel washer !!

Good luck

Best regards,

Yeah...the intermittent wipers still work. Wiper motor is fine, however when i go to wash the windshield I hear the pump working but don't get fluid. I pulled the line and checked for clogs. My current thought is the seals on the pump (that sits on/near the reservoir) are bad and it isn't generating pressure. Any thoughts on my issue? or how to go about fixing it?

Remove the screws from the wing liner. Push aside the wing liner.
